
The 8th graders had a great time exploring Edgar Allan Poe during October! We took part in an escape room, made wanted posters, and enjoyed several of his spooky tales!





We are working on Veterans Day and need your help. We are asking for pictures for our Faces of Freedom wall. Please send those in if you would like to add your veteran to our display. The broadcasting class will be editing the video project that was made last year, so it is not too late to add veterans to the updated video tribute.


Attention students in 6th-8th grade!! Invite those veterans for lunch next Friday, November 12th! This is available for the middle school students only!


As we celebrate principal appreciation week, we thank our Dean of Students, Mr. Hodges for everything he does for our staff and students!


We started our family reading engagement program today. Every student in grades K-8 will receive a book each month. We encourage you to take some time this weekend to talk about the new book with your child.



Second grade is excited to receive all new wireless mice to use with our chromebooks thanks to generous donors. Also, a special THANK YOU to some very polite and helpful boys from Mrs. Prior's class that helped me get them all assembled.


The 8th grade elective class was collecting animal track samples from around campus to identify today.

We are starting a new program this year to promote literacy and family reading involvement. Every month, each child in grades K-8 will receive a new book from the school to keep! This will begin soon, so be on the look out for a book each month to engage with your child.





Visitation services for two of our school community members are being held on Friday. In an effort to make things more convenient for everyone who would like to attend the services, we will be dismissing school at 2:10 on Friday. Our thoughts and prayers remain with everyone.
