Boys high school Cross Country gets the win today @ West Frankfort.
They went 1,3,12,18,20,22, and 47 with the top 5 scoring a total of 54 points!
Senior Jaxon Dalby wins this meet for the 3rd year in a row as well!
On the girls side, Lydia Hulbert ran a PR of 24:06 to take 27th while Kylie Snow had a great race as well running 28:17.

Jr High softball had a great night at the diamond! Addie Bedar hit a home run. Maryn Sneed pitched a no hitter. Great job Lady Trojans!


This week, students in Ms. Heinzman’s 5th Grade Language Arts classes started writing letters to their pen pals! They are so excited to hear back from the student they wrote to!

The 1pm History class for Rend Lake College students has been canceled today. They should still attend their 12:00 class.

Reminder to Families:
As sports start, please note following guidelines for student spectators:
1. Students JH and younger need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian at games (this includes both indoor and outdoor events).
2. Loitering in common areas, bathrooms, etc. will not be allowed.
3. Any student who leaves the game will not be allowed reentry.
4. Any student disruption will result in removal from the game and could result in suspension from future contests.
Please help us ensure safe, orderly sporting events for not only our athletes, but other fans as well!

Mrs. Snow's students have been working on state slide show presentations as a culminating project to our Geography of the United States unit.

Kindergarten had their teddy bear picnic today.




Jr High 8th grade baseball players were recognized tonight before the boys home game vs Ewing. Congratulations Liam, Parker, and Jonas!






Mrs. Withrow's 2nd grade recently has been learning about structure and the properties of matter. Students worked on taking apart items and rebuilding into something new.
