Webber 2 placed 3rd over all in Envirothon
Parents are invited to stop in to view a "Hidden in Plain Sight" display that will be set up in the Junior High gym on Thursday, March 12 from 3-7 during parent-teacher conferences. The display looks like a typical bedroom. However, among the “normal” items are dozens of items that could signal a young person might be involved in risky activities. It’s a great way to learn how to spot possible warning signs and get tips for communicating with your teens. Stop in and check it out!

Wayne City Herpetology Club came to BGS today. They shared their reptiles and insects with grades K-4 and gave a more in depth presentation to grades 5-8.

The Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce recognized teachers from throughout the county this morning for being awarded grants for classroom projects. Ms. April Flexter, a first grade teacher at BGS, received a grant for an iPad and an Osmo kit. Jessica Case, a BUSD board member and first grade teacher at the Primary Center, received a grant for the school's PBIS store!
