I'm still in total awe of what I just saw. Our HS Boys track team just Kaa-rushed it! 3rd place overall in South Sectionals against so many other bigger more established schools. Several state qualifiers as you have already seen. 7, yes 7 events we have qualifiers in. Last year we took 1 guy to State, Seth Hamerski. And he brought home the first ever State track medal in Webber History. You were the first ever Seth Michael, but looks like you are gonna have some company now buddy. So proud of them all. On a lighter note, I'm not sure what was more impressive, the team performance or our coaches performance. Coach Pierce set what is believed to be a new course record and perhaps state record in the Coaches Diagonal 100 yard dash. He also established a new P.R. and unofficial State record in the Coaches Overall Distance Covered Dash with an estimated 2,113 total yds. covered. Folks, NFL runners don't even do that in a season. Impressive.
How about the 4x400 as well! All four relays and several individuals are state bound!

A BIG rabbits foot today to our Boys HS track team at Sectional Today. Lets get several STATE qualifiers! Also one each to our HS BB and SB teams as they each play in regional semifinals today. GO TROJANS and LADY TROJANS!

The Webber Boys Track and Field team placed 3rd today at the Nashville Jared Morris Invitational, only getting beat by Nashville and Breese Mater Dei. They are back in Action on Wednesday @ Fairfield for a tough sectionals meet. The meet will decide who qualifies for the state meet on the 26th! Field events start @ 3:30, followed my track events @ 4:30!
