After a thrilling hang on to win victory last night our HS Boys BB team plays tonight for the championship of the Conrad Allen Tournament at 7 00. We would love to fill Wayne City gym with cheering Trojans fans but if you can not make it tonight the game will be streamed by Areasports.

The Webber Lady Trojans fall to the Lady Lions of Edwards County 24-69.
Sophomore Chloe King led us in scoring with 9, followed by freshman Kadi Bain with 8.
We are back in action on Tuesday against Duquoin @ Home.
With a thrilling victory last night over North Clay in the Conrad Allen, we took home the Gold in Pool B. That means we are in the Conrad Allen "Final 4" so to speak.
We play tomorrow night at 8:30 vs Grayville. I f we win that we go for Ultimate Gold on Saturday 7:00. Should we falter Friday, game time would be 5:30 Saturday.

Webber Nation: There has been a format change In The Boys HS BB Conrad Allen Tourney. Now, if we lose tonight we would play 8:30 Thursday Night as opposed to 5:30 Friday. If we win tonight it remains the same as scheduled 8:30 Friday night.

He competed in his first college indoor meet on Saturday representing Millikin University Track and Field, and immediately shot up their record boards to 8th all time in Millikin throws history in the weight throw!
It is great to see former Trojans thrive!
A senior-less Lady Trojans squad battling sickness takes the loss at Sandoval 24-56.
The lady Trojans came out of the gate fighting in their second away game of the week, up 14-13 after the first, but a lack of numbers and exhaustion took its toll.
Chloe King and Laney Hails both led the Trojans with 8 points each.
I am currently seeking contact information for all members of the 1997-98 Webber HS Girls Basketball team. That team has been inducted into our HOF and I need to contact them. The Webber Sports HOF Class of 2023 includes individuals David Black, Eddie Gregory, Bill Irwin, Dean Marlow, Kaylea Potter, and Danielle Snow. As well as the 1997-98 Girls Basketball Team and 1967-68 Boys Basketball team. Ceremony is scheduled for Jan. 27, 10;00.

The Bluford- Farrington boy's basketball team took down Bethel/McClellan 62-18 tonight.
Attention Bluford Families:
We want to keep you all informed of a situation that was brought to our attention this morning.
A high school student reported getting a message stating not to come to school this morning. It was from an unknown phone number and did not list anything specific about the student or the school district. Administration and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department investigated the situation and found there was no direct threat made to any student, staff, or the school district.
As a precaution, there was an increased law enforcement presence at the school this morning.
We thank the students that came forward with this information and the swift action of administration and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department to investigate the matter and keep our students, staff, and school safe.
