Results from the JH CC Regional @ Allendale Posted by Coach JP: Before I start, both Coach JP and HP are extremely proud of the seasons the JH Boys and Girls CC squads had this year. Its always a joy to coach such a great group of kids! The JH CC teams went up against a tough Regional @ Allendale today, with both teams missing state qualifying spots, the boys placing 3rd by just 5 points. The Bluford JH CC teams came away with 4 individual state qualifiers from the CC Regional at Allendale. Those 4 individuals were: Lily Rains: 5th Emma Hardy: 14th Bryden Dalby: 2nd Jacob Marlow: 3rd The Girls season was full of PRs for all of them, and this is a team with a bright young core group to build around for the next several years. We had an awesome group of 8th Graders to lead, and we are excited to see them excel in High school! While the boys season did not end how many wanted it to, I feel it would be a crime to define their season on one meet, so let me list some highlights of their season. This group of boys best running days are still ahead of them, as we look forward to them joining our High School squad. Woodlawn Invite Team Champions(Knocked off Class L Salem) Unofficial West Frankfort Invite Champions(the boys had 3 in the top 5 at this meet) 4th Place finish @ the Salem Invite, a huge Class L invite of 30+ teams! Summersville Invite Champions Jefferson County Boys Team and Individual Champion 3rd Place Finish @ Allendale Regional. It was Truly a great year, and we could not be more proud!

Please keep our fellow school community of Hamilton County in your thoughts and prayers as they suffered a tragic loss of one of their students. In a world of negativity, we need to stand together to support each other and our local schools. Trojan Nation is behind you!
