BUSD is still looking for applicants for a full time bus route and substitute drivers.
Bluford Schools School Bus Driver Information:
Full Time Route = $93/day ($31/hour)
Routes are guaranteed 1.5 hours AM and PM for a total of 3 hours/day
District pays Social Security, FICA, IMRF, Medicare
Heath insurance not offered
Sub Driver Pay = $80/day ($40 AM and $40 PM)
Extra Trip Pay = $16/hour

**Hourly rates are regionally competitive, if not higher, than area school districts and bus companies**
New Drivers - District will pay for all training. All drivers must pass background check and IDOT physical/drug tests
The Lady Trojans fall to the Red Hill Salukis 25-34.
Sophomore Chloe King was the leading scorer for Webber with 12, followed by Freshman Kadi Bain with 8.
They are now 1-1 on the season and 1-1 in the Conference.
The Lady Trojans next game is Tuesday against Pope County.
The Lady Trojans head to Red Hill tonight for a 6:00pm Conference matchup!

Just a reminder Webber Nation, our HS Basketball season is almost upon us. Our Gals open Thursday Nov. 16, at home vs Wayne City. It is a Varsity Only affair. Our Guys open Nov.21 at Christopher Turkey Tourney. Their home opener is Friday Dec. 1, vs Eldorado.
Season Reserved Seats have been on sale for some time now and will continue to be on sale so get them now while you can. Seats are $40 each and are selling fairly well. Attention Bluford Families: With indoor sports in full swing, this is a reminder that all students grades K-8 and younger are to be supervised and accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. Students are not to be roaming in the hallways, bathrooms, concession areas, or in parking lots. Anyone who leaves the building will be unable to reenter. Students unattended or not following school rules will be asked to leave school property. Thank you for your support in keeping our athletic events safe for all.
Students can purchase yo-yo's and other Ned Show merchandise the next two weeks in the grade school office before school.
Today grades K-5 watched The Ned Show assembly. The Ned Show is a character education program that centers around three important messages:
-Never give up
-Encourage others
-Do your best
During the assembly students learned about these messages, while enjoying storytelling, jokes, and yo-yo tricks.
Thank you to everyone who came for our Veteran's Day program. It was a wonderful afternoon getting to celebrate our veterans.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to Mrs. Schumm and her high school students for building our Titanium Trojans robotics team our very own table to practice for our competition. Also, we want to thank Mr. Weathers and his high school art class for painting, staining, and sealing the table to give it a beautiful, durable finish. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful staff and students who are always willing to help each other out.
