Just a reminder Webber Nation, our HS Basketball season is almost upon us. Our Gals open Thursday Nov. 16, at home vs Wayne City. It is a Varsity Only affair. Our Guys open Nov.21 at Christopher Turkey Tourney. Their home opener is Friday Dec. 1, vs Eldorado.
Season Reserved Seats have been on sale for some time now and will continue to be on sale so get them now while you can. Seats are $40 each and are selling fairly well. If you need seats contact me Webber Athletic Director Bob Hamerski 618-732-8242 ext 215 or rhamerski@blufordschools.org. Its gonna be a fun season. Come watch us play in person and sit in luxury.
Attention Bluford Families: With indoor sports in full swing, this is a reminder that all students grades K-8 and younger are to be supervised and accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. Students are not to be roaming in the hallways, bathrooms, concession areas, or in parking lots. Anyone who leaves the building will be unable to reenter. Students unattended or not following school rules will be asked to leave school property. Thank you for your support in keeping our athletic events safe for all.
Students can purchase yo-yo's and other Ned Show merchandise the next two weeks in the grade school office before school.
Today grades K-5 watched The Ned Show assembly. The Ned Show is a character education program that centers around three important messages:
-Never give up
-Encourage others
-Do your best
During the assembly students learned about these messages, while enjoying storytelling, jokes, and yo-yo tricks.
Thank you to everyone who came for our Veteran's Day program. It was a wonderful afternoon getting to celebrate our veterans.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to Mrs. Schumm and her high school students for building our Titanium Trojans robotics team our very own table to practice for our competition. Also, we want to thank Mr. Weathers and his high school art class for painting, staining, and sealing the table to give it a beautiful, durable finish. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful staff and students who are always willing to help each other out.

Shout out to SR. HS CC runner Dalby for a 76th place finish at State Saturday. 249 runner had qualified so this is a great finish. Nice going Jaxon!
Shout out to our JH Boys BB team for winning the recent highly touted Rome Tournament. Good job boys!
Our meet the team night has been set for Saturday Nov. 18 at 5:00. There will be more info on this later.

The Boys JH BB game Tuesday Nov. 7 had to be moved to Monday Nov. 13th here at 6:00.
Friday Nov. 10 there will be a C game at 5:30 before the scheduled Boys JV game.

Webber Nation: Reserved chair seats for HS Boys and Girls Basketball are on sale today. Each seat cost $40 and covers the entire 2023-24 season EXCEPT for post season. That is $1 more than the normal cost of admi9ssion and is worth it to sit front row in a cumfy seat reserved for you! Ticket holders from last year have first right to the same seats they had last year OR you can request new seats. All others are on a first come first served basis. Tomorrow, November 2, students will take their trimester exams in periods 4, 5, and 6. If students are exempt from those exams, they may leave at the end of third period.
On Friday, November 3rd, students will take their trimester exams for periods 1, 2, and 3. If students are exempt from those exams, they are not required to be at school on Friday. The dismissal time for Friday is 11:30am.
Registration for BCAA basketball and cheerleading will be on Saturday, November 11. Notes came home tonight for students in grades K-2.
