They did it again! Your boys High school track and field program is sending yet again MULTIPLE relays to state for the 3rd year in a row!
The 4x800 relay of Damian Fleener, Brennan Tate, Nathaniel Marlow and Jaxon Dalby won the sectional title for the 3rd straight year AND broke the school record with a new time of 8:32.48!
The 4x100 of James Walker, Grayson Fairchild, Nikkos Ulm and Ashton James SHOCKED the world when the 4th seeded relay squad PR'd by almost 1 second and took 2nd, qualifying for state for the 3rd straight season with a 45.48!!
Finally, your 4x400 of Ashton James, Jaxon Dalby, Nathaniel Marlow, and Damian Fleener PR'd yet again and again for the THIRD straight season are sectional champions in the 4x400!
It was truly an amazing day as all of Southern Illinois descended upon Bluford! I cannot thank all of our help yesterday enough! Our track and field community is growing and it has been a true blessing for our student athletes! Thank you all so much!

Whenever my coaches do something they shouldn't or don't do something they should they hear it from me. So the same goes for when they do something good, they will hear it too. Coach Pierce did a TREMENDOUS job in preparing and running a great HS Boys Sectional Track meet. Kudos for a job well done Coach Pierce, and as well to your wife< the other Coach Pierce for all her part too. And a big Webber thank you to all that helped, worked, or did anything to make today the success it was. Nice job all!

HOME HIGH SCHOOL BOYS SECTIONAL TRACK MEET TODAY
Come out and support your boys high school track team today @ home! We host a 1A boys sectional with field events starting @ 2:00, and running events starting @ 3:00! The meet will last past 6 so if you cant make the start, come see the finish!
It 7 dollars on go fan for tickets or 8 dollars cach at the gate. IHSA sets pricing and we cannot control it!

With Track Sectionals today, Parent Pickup will be in the main parking lot. Please be extra careful as there will be increased traffic today.
Tomorrow, Friday, May 17th the freshman, sophomores, and juniors will take semester exams for periods 4,5,6. If they are exempt from their exams, they may leave after 3rd hour at 11:24am. If they are taking exams, they are allowed to leave when they finish. Semester exams for periods 1, 2, and 3 are on Monday, May 20th.
Boys Basketball campers here is the opportunity to get instruction from Webbers finest, Illinois Basketball Coach of the Year Jaxon Helm. Camp will be held June 17-20. Boys going into grades 3-5 will be from 10:00am to noon and boys going into grades 6-8 will be from 12:30pm to 2:30. Cost is $45 which includes a tee shirt and top notch instruction. You will need to purchase tickets for tomorrows boys sectional track meet using the QR Code I previously posted. We will have cashboxes as well but it is a $1 more in cash.
Their will be 2 places to enter the track tomorrow and pay our gatekeepers. You will see it. And I shouldn't have to say this but... NO PETS ALLOWED at our track.

High School Track and Field is looking for help in the concession stand for this Thursdays boys home sectional meet. Concessions will be open from 1:30 to the end of the meet around 6:30.

Due to lack of numbers, the baseball regional contest today has been cancelled resulting in a forfeit.
Softball will play at HOME starting at 4PM (weather permitting) - This is 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled time.
Tomorrow, Monday, May 13th, and also on Tuesday, May 14th, are semester exams for seniors who are required to take them. Once they finish their exams they are allowed to leave.
The High School running programs would like to extend a Happy Mother's Day to all of our "track moms"!
