And the hits just keep coming! Hey, when you're good you're good, tell people. In a year where we have had sooo many teams fare well in the post season and individuals that have racked up the accolades, we have yet another. Our Rookie Sensation HS Boys Basketball Coach Jaxon Helm has ben named Co-Coach of the Year (along with Waltonville's Anthony Lowery) by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association for District 20. Couldn't be any prouder of one of my coaches. Great job coach. There will be more of these I believe.
MEET DAY!!!
The Webber-Wayne Track and Field Programs host their opening track meet of the season today! Field Events start @ 2:00pm, with running events following @ 3:00pm.
Teams attending include: Webber-Wayne, Fairfield, Hamilton County, Johnston City, Nashville, Woodlawn, Christ Our Rock, Cisne, and Gallatin County!
Please be aware that today we have both a HS Track meet and HS BB/SB going on at Webber today. Parking will be at a premium. Please utilize all our spaces wisely and be mindful of where and how you park. Don't be THAT guy. Plenty of parking behind our HS.
Again. DO NOT park in the Church lot North of our track. It is not ours to use anymore.
You may have to walk a ways so be prepared. This is the price we pay for becoming the hub of So. Illinois sports entertainment. And please remember, NO PETS on our grounds.
Kids Quest for today is cancelled.
Track Day!
Car Riders will need to come in on Price St/6th street into the school and circle around and park by the bus barn/fuel tank to start loading for dismissal. The parking lot will be blocked off by Chestnut where parents normally start pulling up. We will resharing this information again when our full track season starts to remind everyone. Please be patient with us during this transition.
