Hey Webber Nation, remember me? Its been a while. Remember my last post where I told you to disregard my previous post? Well, disregard THAT post as well. Tonight;s BOYS HS BB at Thompsonville is CANCELLED. That's my final answer Welcome to my world.
Remember that post I put out about HS Boys bb tonight being a 2 quarter only JV game? Yeah, disregard that. Now there is no JV game at all, just a varsity game starting at 6pm.
Webber HS Boys BB will be at the Conrad Allen Holiday Tournament in Wayne City starting tomorrow. It is a pool play tourney. Our schedule for it is thus: Sat. Dec. 11 vs Grayville 1:30, Tue. Dec. 14 vs Crab Orchard 7:00, Thur. Dec. 16 vs North Clay 8:30. Saturday Dec.18 is the trophy games and game times are TBD. See you in Wayne City Trojan Nation!
Tue Dec. 14 is our Girls JH BB 8th grade night. Our Opponent, St. Mary's is only able to play 2 JV quarters. Hence, our ceremony will need to be bumped up accordingly. I would be there by 6pm to beat the rush traffic and long lines to get in that night.
Tonight's Boys HS JV BB game will only be 2 quarters tonight in light of he activities Thompsonville has planned and potential bad weather late this evening, That way we can hopefully be back to Bluford safe and sound in case it does hit.

Hey sports fans, to better feed your Bluford sports appetite we have now added pee wee basketball, cheerleading, and BCAA BB and cheerleading to the menu. Practices have begun for some and will begin for the rest shortly. Pee Wee cheerleading practice will begin Wed. Dec. 15 and Thursday, Dec. 16 4:30-5:30. Ashley Rainey is our cheer coach.

Big Shout Out to Hudson Burke, Bronx Hefner, and Allie Smith for winning not only the Bluford part of the Elks Hoop Shoot Free throw contest, but the recent County portion of it held Saturday at St. Mary's school. Big Ups people! Hudson finished first overall for 8-9 yr. boys, Bronx first overall for 10-11 yr. boys, and Allie first overall 12-13 yr. girls.
Six overall winners, Bluford athletes accounted for HALF of the overall winners. Very impressive .

I reported in my last blog that our HS Girls play at Brownstown on Thursday. That is inaccurate reporting. Our Ladies play at HOME vs. South Central on Thursday and at Brownstown on FRIDAY.

Our HS BB boys dropped a tough one last night to a fine Edwards County squad but will look to rebound this weekend with games Friday at Ziegler-Royalton and Saturday HOME 6:00 vs AGAPE. And don't forget our fine Lady Trojan squad as they travel to Brownstown on Thursday. GO TROJANS AND LADY TROJANS! Technical science constructed catapults and are working on gaining distance, accuracy, and precision. They are using their problem solving skills to rethink and redesign.
