Look how big some of our bean seeds have gotten! Some students had tremendous growth over the last three weeks, while others learned about root rot and the effects of too much water.
Today we celebrate our Athletic Director, Mr. Hamerski on his retirement! All of us are thankful for how much you have assisted in building the athletic programs up over the years!
6th grade Science had fun today challenging themselves during an Escape Room! They had to use their knowledge of the rock cycle and deciphering skills to make their way through the puzzles. We even learned what a snote is! If you haven't been to an escape room the signs afterwards are the best part. They are in jest and were not taken seriously
The Webber HS Beta Club is excited to announce the third annual Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 25th from 5:30-7pm in the high school parking lot! The JH CC pre-State meet tomorrow at Duquoin has been changed from 1:30 to 8:30. Girls race will start at 8:30 with boys following that.
Trojans Cross Country takes 2nd at Chester!
The boys squad took 2nd today at Chester only to an also ranked pinckneyville squad. They ran an awesome race and brought home some hardware!
The girls had great races as well, with both our freshman lady Trojans placing well out of the freshman-sophomore division!
We are back in action October 12th at Benton!

Fifth grade students learned about how the Aztecs created a codex. Then students had the opportunity to created their own codex.

8th grade Science had a unit test tomorrow. Today they played Glow Bingo as a review
6th Grade has learned about Constellations and today they write their name in the stars!
Today is National School Custodian Day. We are thankful for Jeff, Kim, Glen, and Jordan for all they do to keep our school in tiptop shape!
JH Cross Country Meet @ West Frankfort has been canceled for today.
High School Physical Science class investigated elements, compounds, mixtures, solubility and density this week in class by moving around the room to various stations!
Today 5th grade tried something new! We received goodies from someone in the great state of Hawaii. Students love getting to try new foods and seeing the different aspects of other cultures. Whoever sent us this amazing package, THANK YOU!
