Girls 4-8th grade basketball conditioning/open gym is tomorrow, Tuesday, after school until 5pm. Tryouts will be on Thursday and Friday after school until 5pm. Wear practice clothes (shorts, tshirt, and tennis shoes) no jean material. Bring a water bottle and mask. Must have a sports physical on file at the school.

With a thrilling win over OBR last evening, our JH baseballers have earned a trip to the semifinals. They play today at 4:30 in Hoffman (Hoffman Park)vs Trinity Lutheran-Hoffman. Their bus will embark at 2:30 for the journey Northwest. Best way to travel is take Rt. 37 North to 161 turn left and follow through to Hoffman. Cant miss field, or much else in Hoffman. Takes about 50 minutes. Best of luck ballers!

Welcome to the real world! The Ag. Construction class today began a shingling project on the concession stand. Some of them developed a new found appreciation for the profession!
The JH regional baseball game scheduled for today at Bluford will be played HERE at 6:00pm under the lights.
As a special feature admission is free to the first 200 fans that attend.

Here's the skinny sports fans. JH BB and SB cancelled today. SB to be made up Wed. 6:00 at either MV Lincoln Park or Woodlawn. That has yet to be decided. JH BB will be made up Thursday, here, 4:30. If they win Thursday they play Friday at Trinity Lutheran, 4:30.
JH CC for tomorrow has been moved to Wed. Sept. 29, 4:00 at the Airport.

Listen fast Blufordonians this a mouth full. HS BB is here at Webber field today, JH SB plays a regional game Tues., at Mt. Vernon Lincoln Park, 6:00, JH BB plays a regional game here Tue., 4:30 and the JH CC County meet is Wed., which brings me to another issue altogether. Rain. Oh boy. If it rains JH BB and SB get pushed to Wed., AND JH CC gets pushed to Sept. 29. And we added home VB Fri. Oct. 1 to our schedule. Any questions just call me.

Cross Country Updates: First HS running trophy brought home since 1977! First Cross Country HS team trophy ever!
GS and HS has been at it this week going to several meets with some great results!
GS was @ Salem on Wednesday with a Varsity 1st place by Nathaniel Marlow out of 107 runners! He has no places 1st in 3 of his 4 races this season! We had 2 more medals from Bryden Dalby and Zaydun Withrow in the JV boys race as well! They all had fantastic races!
GS and HS were both @ Norris City Yesterday with some more great results! Nathaniel Marlow won again I. The boys varsity race while Bryden Dalby, Zaydun Withrow, and Jacob Marlow all medaled in the JV boys race. Kylie Snow and Moriah Barns also medaled in the JV girls race! Great job GS!
HS ran as well with Seth Hamerski placing 1st and Jaxon Dalby placing 2nd and the boys team of Seth Hamerski, Jaxon Dalby, Jeremiah Cramer, Josh Lewis, and Elijah Marlow brought home first place! Alexis Johnson also medaled and Savanna Hulbert ran a great race as well.
It has been a great first quarter of the season for both teams!
