Below is a recap of the February 2025 BOE Meeting.
The regular February Board meeting was held on Thursday, February 20th, 2025 at 6pm. The following items were discussed/action taken.
Jaxon Dalby presented his CEO Business Plan to the Board.
Steve Tate recognized Nathaniel Marlow for breaking the school record for Boys Basketball All-Time Scoring.
1. The Consent Agenda was approved, including minutes from the January 23, 2025 meeting, Executive Session minutes from January 23, 2025 to remain confidential, Bills for February 2025, Financial Reports for January 2025, and suspension imposed by building administrators for January 2025.
2. The superintendent's report included information about the district's Strategic Planning process which will include a community carousel for invited stakeholders to share input for the development of a new strategic plan. Building principal reports included student highlights and upcoming events.
3. 2 FOIA requests were received (from North Egypt News and SmartProcure) and both were responded to in a timely manner.

2025-2026 School Calendar
Special Board Meeting for the purposes of Strategic Planning on March 11, 2025 at 5PM in the HS Media Center
Approval to purchase a new volleyball net system
Approved declared district equipment as surplus
The Board entered into Executive Session and the following items were approved following executive session:
Accepted the resignation of the following employees: Kamla Hails (GS Teacher), Thomas Kent (HS PE/Health Teacher), Bryn Pasley (JH Science Teacher), Ryan Robinson (HS Principal), Hannah Bowers (EOC Aide), Patrica Verdeyen (GS Aide), and Stephanie Wilson (JH Head Girls Basketball Coach)
Adopted the Resolution Reference The Dismissal of Christina Wilson
Employed Doug Wright as JH Social Studies Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year, pending certification and background check
Approved Jordan Wheeler as a Volunteer Asst. HS Baseball Coach
Approved to post for vacant positions
